Education & Clinical Training
Dr. Perez earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico – Mayaguez Campus. He went on to complete his Doctor of Optometry at the Inter American University of Puerto Rico – School of Optometry, where he gained clinical experience at Capital Eye Consultants in Fairfax, Virginia, and Bright Vision Center in Cary, North Carolina.
Following his doctorate, Dr. Perez completed a one-year residency in ocular disease at Aran Eye Associates in Miami, Florida, in affiliation with Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. This specialized training prepared him to handle advanced diagnostic care, surgical co-management, and the long-term treatment of complex eye conditions.

Now proud to call Fort Worth home, Dr. Perez enjoys exploring the area, spending time with friends, and staying active outdoors. He’s a fan of sports of all kinds and brings that same energy and enthusiasm to his work with patients.
