I had cataract surgery done by Dr. Richard Chu, and it went extraordinarily well. No discomfort at all after surgery, no complications, and I now have the 20/20 vision I have not had for years. He turned what I expected to be a worrying experience into something routine.

Dr. Chu looks quite young, like one of my kids. Do not let that fool you. Dr. Chu is truly a miracle worker. I’ve been wearing eyewear since they strapped my first pair on at 3 months old. 53 years. Had my first cataract removed yesterday, and today, for the first time, I greeted the world without glasses. OMG. This is a game changer. I can see clearly now, and the cataract is gone. I can see all obstacles in my way. Woo-who, Dr. Richard Chu.

I really loved Dr. Richard Chu. He was very friendly, informative, and jovial. Usually, I feel like eye doctors can be grumpy and upset that I’m there, and he seemed really excited and happy to be there, and doing the work he does. The nurses are pretty nice, too. The receptionist ladies were pretty much amazing and again, very informative.
